Introduction
The Library, University of Kelaniya has designed this Diploma in Information and Digital Literacy to assist undergraduate students in all faculties to enhance their learning skills more efficiently and develop self-confidence in the digital environment.
කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ අධ්‍යාපනය හදාරණු ලබන විද්‍යාර්ථීන්ගේ තොරතුරු සහ ඩිජිටල් සාක්ෂරතාවය හා සම්බන්ධ දැනුම පුළුල් කිරීමේ අරමුණින් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙහි පුස්තකාලය විසින් මෙම ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව සම්පාදනය කර තිබේ.
Target Group
Undergraduates of all faculties at the University of Kelaniya.
කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයෙහි සියලුම අධ්‍යයන පීඨවල විද්‍යාර්ථයින් සඳහා.
ප්‍රථම ඩිප්ලෝමා කණ්ඩායම සඳහා මානව ශාස්ත්‍ර, සමාජීය විද්‍යා සහ වාණිජ හා කළමනාකරණ අධ්‍යයන පීඨවල විද්‍යාර්ථයින් සඳහා පමණක් අයැදුම් කළ හැකි වේ.
Objectives of the program
- To assist undergraduate students to develop learning and research skills
- To train undergraduate students for life-long learning
- To strengthen the undergraduate on using information effectively and efficiently from a variety of sources
- To educate undergraduate students on analyzing assignments and preparing for writing assignments effectively based on literature.

Duration of the program
Diploma in Information and Digital Literacy ( Inf Dig Li) will be conducted in three (03) semesters.

Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction is Sinhala. However, both Sinhala and English will be used during the course to make the lectures much clearer.
