Reference Section of the Library is consisted of two collections namely:

(i) Schedule Reference (SR) Collection, and

(ii) Permanent Reference (PR) Collection.

The recommended textbooks as well as supplementary reading materials for study programs are mainly housed in SR Collection and the items in this collection are identified by the blue-color ‘SR’ label on the spine. The materials can be borrowed for overnight use. The SR Collection is housed in the ‘Reference Section’ of the Main Library Building.

The reference materials such as encyclopedias, dictionaries are housed in the PR Collection and the items in this collection are identified by the red-color ‘PR’ label on the spine. There materials are for in-house use only and cannot be borrowed. The PR Collection is located in the 1^st Floor of the New Library Wing.

In addition, users can approach the staff employed in reference counters or reach their respective faculty’s subject liaison librarians for any further assistance with their information needs.
