Research4Life (https://www.research4life.org/) provides institutions in lower-income countries with online access to academic and professional peer-reviewed contents from up to 180 international publishers. Since 2002, Research4Life has provided information to researchers in 125 lower- and middle-income countries with free or low-cost online access to up 151,000 leading journals and books in the fields of health, agriculture, environment, life sciences. physical sciences, social sciences and legal information.

Academic Resources (Journals, Books, Reference Sources &  Databases)  available in the following five programs  can be accessd via a single search Platform.(Summon) 

Research for Health (HINARI)- Focus on biomedical and health literature.

Research in Agriculture (AGORA)- focuses on food and agriculture related litreature,

Research in the Environment (OARE)-focuses on environment, including ecology &  geography

Research for Development and Innovation (ARDI)-scientific and technical information,

Research for Global Justice (GOALI)- focuses on law and social sciences litreature

Sri Lanka, as a Category B country is not allowed to access many reputed publisher’s contents such as Elsevier, Wiley, OUP, BMJ, Lippincott & Williams.
